About the Founder
Barbara O'Brien
Founder & CEO
Barbara O’Brien is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and tax professional with extensive hands-on experience in tax preparation, tax resolution, bookkeeping, and financial analysis. Based in Los Angeles and serving clients remotely nationwide, she has prepared individual, business, trust, and payroll tax returns; assisted taxpayers with IRS and state tax issues; and supported clients through audits, notices, collections, and payment negotiations. Her background includes roles as a tax accountant at both boutique and large firms, forensic accounting work reviewing and analyzing financial records, and several years in a tax law practice resolving complex disputes with the IRS. Barbara also brings a strong legal-support and administrative foundation from earlier positions in law firms and a global real estate company, giving her a thorough understanding of documentation, compliance, and client service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and IRS Enrolled Agent license in good standing. Barbara is fluent in English and Polish.

IRS Tax Resolution
We offer comprehensive tax resolution services to help individuals and businesses resolve IRS and state tax problems and move forward with confidence. Our support includes preparing and filing unfiled or overdue tax returns, responding to tax notices and letters, and working to stop or reduce enforced collection actions such as wage garnishments, bank levies, and liens. When appropriate, we negotiate practical solutions on your behalf—such as installment agreements (payment plans), penalty relief, Offers in Compromise, or “currently not collectible” status. As an Enrolled Agent, we communicate directly with the tax authorities for you, review your full situation, explain your options clearly, and guide you through each step of getting back into compliance and reducing the stress of tax debt.
Business Bookkeeping
We offer monthly business bookkeeping services designed to keep your financial records accurate, organized, and up to date so you can focus on running your business. Each month, we record and categorize your income and expenses, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and maintain clean, tax-ready books in QuickBooks. Further, we provide clear profit & loss and balance sheet reports to track your business performance and guide better decisions. By delivering reliable numbers, we eliminate tax-time surprises and free you from the stress of managing your own books.
Monthly Financial Reporting
